Ageism

Her friend pushed her

Past the breaking point.

Stoic lines teased her mind

The prison for assault.

She left him with a

Turn of her heel

Grinding holes into the dust.

Her child pushed her

Past the breaking point.

Broken lines teased her mind

Freedom in size

With a red behind

She left him.

  1. This poem is everything!! There is a point where too much is too much and we need to walk away, especially when it goes on over time. There is a lot of powerful emotions behind this, especially when it deals with human to human interactions.
