Nin Chronicles: My Word

Nin Chronicles: My Word tells the story of Elladan and Elrohir, two elflings who have lived years with their father but have never been happy. Their parents claim to love them. Parents do love their children.

But Elladan and Elrohir have never felt their parents’ love. For as long as they can remember, both brothers recall being spanked by mother and father. The pain confuses them. How can a person who hurts you also love you?

My Word follows the brothers as they seek answers in unlikely places. When Elladan and Elrohir spend several months in Mirkwood, their eyes are opened to a whole new reality. From then on their lives are never the same.

Nin Chronicles: My Word deals with learning to love and leaving old demons behind. It shows the journey of two elflings as they seek to find the person who will love them rather then spank them

Thranduil, Legolas, Elladan, Elrohir, Elrond, Arwen, Celebrian, Glorfindel, Erestor, Galadriel, Celeborn and Oropher belong to the world of J.R.R Tolkien, as does Mirkwood and the rest of Middle Earth. However, I receive no form of money for the writing of this story and do not claim Thranduil and Legolas belong to me.

Though I use Tolkien’s world to tell this story,  please note that the rest of the characters and the story-line all belong to me, being my original characters and story-line.

Written when I was fifteen-sixteen, I have left My Word as it is now to be read in its raw state. My Word continues the Nin Chronicles series and show how my writing improved over the years, marking not only the journey of the Royal Family of Mirkwood and the Royal Family of Rivendell but also my journey to hone my writing skills and ability.

My Word was written to enable me to explore my feelings on the matters in the story, and is another step I took to help bridge the gap between race, gender, religion and the gaps between parents and their children, the most harmful gaps of all.
